dont give them longer time give them longer necks hang them high !!!
kill them all and let god sort them out !!!

Salem,
Once again you literally slap the face of the victims’ family with your goody-two-shoes love and reconciliation drivel.
Let me make a guess here. You have never lost a loved one to a vicious crime! Therefore your pious preaching’s aren't worth the powder it would take to blow them up.
If you're only interest is to come on this board and further hurt the MVS, why don't you take your crusade where it actually might do some good, because all you do on this board is make people know for sure what a phony you are.

Give the mutts a date with the Stainless Steel Saviour and let them see the light !

Music to Play at an Execution...

This was another thread on the pro-death penalty message board... what song should be played during the actual state sanctioned killing....

It must be an anxious time for the condemned inmate, strapped down and waiting to die. Lest our detractors call us cold and insensitive, how may we comfort, palliate and inspire a nervous inmate prior to its expiration? May we not use the gift of song in this noble effort?
I invite suggestions.
I'll open with Lawrence Welk's "Bubbles in the Wine," which he played at the end of his shows:

Good night, sleep tight and pleasant dreams to you
Here's a wish and a prayer that every dream comes true
And now 'til we meet again

Adios! Au revoir! Auf weidersehen!

Why, Billy Idol's "REBEL YELL" of course.
In the midnight hour, we want more, more, more.
Little Rebel Yell, we want more, more.
NEXT, NEXT, NEXT, that is.

That's a good one.

Or how about Frank Sinatra's (or Elvis') "My Way"?

My Way Lyrics

(P. Anka, J. Revaux, G. Thibault, C. Frankois)

[Recorded December 30, 1968, Hollywood]

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and ev'ry highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
"Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way"

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!

[instrumental]

Yes, it was my way

What about "The End" from the Doors?

Any one heard of the old song, "Hang Down Your Head Tom Dooley"?

How about "Highway to Hell" by AC/DC ?

Yup! Po' boy, you're going to die!
Then there's the Bee Gees' "Stayin' Alive

Simple Minds! Of course! Nice tie-in to live cremation, too
What you gonna do when things go wrong?
What you gonna do when it all cracks up?
What you gonna do when the love burns down?
What you gonna do when the flames go up?

Then there's Gene Pitney's "Town Without Pity."

When you're young and so and love as we
And bewildered by the world we see
Why do people hurt us so
Only those in love would know
What a town without pity can do

If we stop to gaze upon a star
People talk about how bad we are
Ours is not an easy age
We're like tigers in a cage
What a town without pity can do

The young have problems Many problems
We need an understanding heart
Why don't they help us, try to help us
Before this clay and granite planet falls apart

Take these eager lips and hold me fast
I'm afraid this kind of joy can't last
How can we keep love alive
How can anything survive
When these little minds tear you in two
What a town without pity can do

How can we keep love alive
How can anything survive
When these little minds tear you in two
What a town without pity can do

Hellbound Train I'm on it's track
Too late now to turn my back
Conductor coming ticket in his hand
Come to claim my soul
Take me to his land
Hellbound Train I been so wrong
Too late now I'm moving on
Conductor standing watch in his hand
Got to get aboard take you to his land
I'm going down the road on the Hellbound Train
Take a long look lady 'cause you won't see me again
Take a last look lady, yes hard and long
'Cause I'm going down the road on the Hellbound Train
Hellbound Train driving slow
Move on down to the Hell below
Conductor please won't you lend a hand?
Got to get on board take me to your land
Yes I know I've been so wrong
Too late now I'm moving on
Hellbound Train I'm on it's track
Moving down I can't look back
I'm going down the road on the Hellbound Train
Take a long look lady 'cause you won't see me again
Take a last look lady, yes hard and long
'Cause I'm going down the road on the Hellbound Train
I'm going down the road on the Hellbound Train
Take a long look lady 'cause you won't see me again
Take a last look lady, yes hard and long
'Cause I'm going down the road on the Hellbound Train
Lost and flying down the road on the Hellbound Train
Lost and flying down the road on the Hellbound Train
Hand and hand with the devil

No, I am giddy with joy because it's possible four murderers will be executed this week, notwithstanding the flaccid attempts of capital punishment opponents to stop them.

Bye bye love
Bye bye happiness, hello loneliness
I think I'm-a gonna cry-y
Bye bye love, bye bye sweet caress, hello emptiness
I feel like I could di-ie
Bye bye my love goodby-eye

Although I think Metallica are a bunch of sellouts, I do believe Ride the Lightning would be approriate:

Guilty as charged
But*darn*it, it ain't right
There is someone else controlling me

Death in the air
Strapped in the electric chair
This can't be happening to me

Who made you God to say
"I'll take your life from you!!"

Flash before my eyes
Now it's time to die
Burning in my brain
I can feel the flame

Wait for the sign
To flick the switch of death
It's the beginning of the end

Sweat, chilling cold
As I watch death unfold
Consciousness is my only friend

My fingers frip with fear
What am I doing here?

Flash before my eyes
Now it's time to die
Burning in my brain
I can feel the flame

Somone help me
Oh please God help me
They are trying to take it all away
I don't want to die

/solo break/

Somone help me
Oh please God help me
They are trying to take it all away
I don't want to die

Time moving slow
The minutes seem like hours
The final curtain call I see

How true is this?
Just get it over with
If this is true, just let it be

Wakened by horrid scream
Freed from this frightening dream

Flash before my eyes
Now it's time to die
Burning in my brain
I can feel the flame

Right on point, Agaveman. However it almost sounds sympathetic. Plus it would only be relevant in Nebraska.
I'm looking for something at least mildly acidic, in keeping with the theme of death by lethal injection.

There just aren't enough songs about lethal injection. We should start a band

We could call ourselves "The Lethal Injectors".

There you go. Possible slogan: "We Shoot! We Score!"

For an execution this has got to be the favorite!!!

Always Look On The Bright Side of Life
from Monty Python's Life of Brian

Cheer up, Brian. You know what they say.
Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle,
Don't grumble, give a whistle!
And this'll help things turn out for the best...
And...

-the music fades into the song

...always look on the bright side of life!
whistle

Always look on the bright side of life...
If life seems jolly rotten,
There's something you've forgotten!
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing,

When you're feeling in the dumps,
Don't be silly chumps,
Just purse your lips and whistle -- that's the thing!
And... always look on the bright side of life...

whistle
Come on!

other start to join in
Always look on the bright side of life...
whistle

For life is quite absurd,
And death's the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow!
Forget about your sin -- give the audience a grin,
Enjoy it -- it's the last chance anyhow!

So always look on the bright side of death!
Just before you draw your terminal breath.
Life's a piece of sh*t,
When you look at it.

Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true,
You'll see it's all a show,
Keep 'em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you!

And always look on the bright side of life...
whistle
Always look on the bright side of life
whistle

I bet you'd like to play some beach blanket bingo with Cartwright, wouldn't you, Currant? Better get some naked pictures of your dream man in the next couple days before Texas sends him to Hell!
